Jack’s mother Veronica passed away on August 8, 2006. She was born Veronica McAvoy
on October 5, 1924. After a life of prayer and devotion to her state of life and raising eight children she had a brain aneurysm on August 6, the feast of the Transfiguration, and quickly went into a coma. Two days later she succumbed in a state of grace surrounded by her family and friends.During the holy hour of 3 o’clock on August 7, miraculous red lights of Divine Mercy were seen flashing off of her chest. She lived for Jesus and on August 8, the feast of St. Dominick, at 9:45 pm, she died with Jesus.
